Golden rays of Autumn

The sun shines through the trees in the woods near Gasselte, Drenthe, The Netherlands.

One of the last chances for me to get some more autumn shots this year. This afternoon I took the girls to Gasselte, for a walk in the forest and for photography. All with cameras, I guess you could say the photography virus is spreading in my family :-)

With one hour of daylight to go, a mist started to crawl from a nearby field onto this lane, highlighting the sunrays that were shining through the trees. A bit of underexposure and a change of white balance to add some warmth and here we are.
