The Way of Colour

Almost Empty

15.6C and dull. Rain showers from about 4pm. Light E/ESE/SSE/S breeze.

Fergus and I went for our walk after lunch. We went round to the harbour where we noticed the rather odd sight of the fishing boat Harvest Moon tied up near the Tourist Information office at the old quay and due to the very low tide, aground and listing.

We carried on along Hall Street, the shore side of the park and Kilkerran road to Glenramskill House and on out to the Doirlinn. The tide was really low still, and Kildalloig Bay was almost empty!

We came back the same way then along the street side of the park and came home through town passing the town hall and the bookshop (closed for half day).

On the Clip while walking:
A summer repeat episode of BBC radio 3's The Verb podcast with Ian McMillan (poet, author, playwright, and broadcaster). The Stoic verb.

The Scotland Outdoors podcast with Mark Stephen and Euan McIlwraith.
Out of Doors Goes Forth Two. Mark and Euan travel along the south side of the River Forth.
Half and hour in the file was corrupt (I have re downloaded since coming home), so I switched to music for a change.
Mary Chapin Carpenter, Stones in the Road.

Afternoon music ... Mary Chapin Carpenter, Ashes and Roses. The Calling.
