Merry-go-round

I'm not sure what these are called in your part of the world but we always knew them as "Merry-go-rounds". They are usually painted in wonderfully gay bright colours and were probably invented with photographers in mind. Perfect for colour patterns and equally perfect for shutter speed variations not to mention the expressions of joy on the faces of the riders. This one has appeared as part of the Christmas festivities at a big shopping location half way between here and nowhere. Rathwood really is in the middle of nowhere but it's hugely popular with Sunday shoppers no matter what the time of year.
