Quetschekuche

All week I wanted to and didn't have a chance and today I couldn't wait 'til my lunch break to head across the street into the bakery for a piece of Quetschekuche - plum cake.
Not much of a photo, but I had to be quicker than quick to eat it - the wasps were waiting at the starting blocks as I came out of the bakery to eat it on an outdoor table. Much loved cake! (I won)
Zwetschgenkuchen or Pflaumenkuchen in Hochdeutsch (High German), Quetschekuche in the Palatinate... in the Platinate we like to eat it with potato soup. They didn't offer that at the bakery.
