Goodbye for now.

I never tire of this view and what a glorious send off it gave us.

With our cases packed, room sorted, goodbyes said, we set off for Cape Town International not knowing whether we would have a seat on the plane from Johannesburg.

Thankfully the wonderful man on the checkin desk had great determination and persistence and he eventually got us checked into the flight from Johannesburg to London.

After a smooth flight from Cape Town to Johannesburg we went and had a meal at Spurs as a last night meal and something substantial to last us through the night. We then found out our flight had an ‘indefinite delay,’ cue some rather disgruntled passengers, some staff trying their best but lacked all information. Eventually the flight was only 2.5 hours delayed. It could of been worse but it definitely felt like it was turning in to quite a trip back!
