This year's display of dahlias...

... in Harrogate Valley Gardens was my blip target for this morning, given the flat lighting.  Avoiding harsh shadows meant the detail in blooms was more evident.

Of course, each different plant has a fancy name (with no obvious connection to the form of the flower). I think I recorded them correctly, starting top left and working clockwise they are: Mary Eveline, Bishop of Llandaff, Edinburgh and Moor Place.
