Metamorphosis, a beautiful Greek word which at root means transformation.The caterpillar to butterfly is perhaps the most common example of this event.
Change is never easy, but it can be both beautiful and life changing - as in our example.
Here is a common butterfly, "common" but nonetheless, it is, to me at least, both beautiful and a wonder of nature. But the caterpillar needed to change for us to see its potential.
