Years

15.7C starting with some smir then clearing to mostly sunny. Light SE/S/WSW/W breeze.

After lunch Fergus and I went for a walk round to the harbour and then out to the old shipyard. It was nice out there so I sat on a big rock and enjoyed the breeze.

On the Clip while walking:
Radio4's Book club podcast where, led by James Naughtie, a group of readers talk to acclaimed authors about their best-known novels.
Val McDermid joined readers to discuss The Mermaids Singing, the story of a serial killer who stalks the gay subculture of a northern town.
Swedish thriller writer Henning Mankell on his Wallander novel Sidetracked.
Jo Nesbo talked about his book, The Snowman.

Afternoon music ... Van Morrison, Beautiful Vision (1982), Jethro Tull, Broadsword and the Beast (1982)
