The Way of Colour

7.10am

15.7C and mostly bright with long sunny spells. Light WNW/NW breeze.

Fergus and I walked over the green to Dalintober this morning to see the ferry leave. The light was so good when we got there that I got a picture right away and decided it wouldn't get better. Ayress was on the other side of the new quay taking on wood. We walked round the Esplanade and went back home.

Fergus and I went for a walk after lunch. We went round to the harbour, along Hall Street, the shore side of the park and Kilkerran road to Glenramskill House and on out to the Doirlinn.

We came back the same way then along the street side of the park and came home through town passing the town hall and the bookshop (open, but with the door closed).

On the Clip while walking:
BBC Radio 4 podcasts called Codes That Changed the World, where Aleks Krotoski tells the story of the languages that have been used to talk to machines:
Basic
Java
The Tower of Babel (end of series episode)

BBC Radio 4 podcasts in which David Baddiel tries to make sense of some apparently puzzling topics:
Computer Hacking
The Cloud

Continuing with the series of podcasts from Radio Scotland, Classic Scottish Albums, I listened to the episode: The Waterboys, This is the Sea.

Afternoon music ... Guardians of the Galaxy (Movie Soundtracks) playlist on Spotify.
