Pop Up Pond

Another rainy day - this one rainy all day rather than having a sunny morning. The ground here is so saturated from a summer of steady heavy rains that whenever it rains now ponds pop up everywhere. These ducks were swimming in one of the pop up ponds when I was walking the dogs this morning.

Hopefully - fingers crossed - we might get a day or two without constant rain before Hurricane Florence strikes us on or about Thursday... And then we hope for a nice day on Saturday - maybe? - before we have to leave on Sunday.
