Terns

I think what we have here are a whole bunch of Royal Terns with a few Caspian Terns mixed in for good measure. The Royal terns have orange bills, the Caspian terns have red bills. Of course they could be something altogether else, for all I know.

We went out to the beach this morning. Things were rough and the beach at the southern end very compromised all ready by rough surf and high tide. 

We seem to have decided to stay and see what happens with the hurricane. There will be rain. And flooding. We can count on that! I just hope we don't regret it!
