Cacti.

These amazing specimens are just a few hundred yards from us and are one of many impressive Cacti gardens to be found in the locale. I am amazed at how beautiful they are and how huge they are too. Glad I am not the gardener in charge of them!

A pleasant day weatherwise. We ventured out to Cap de Cavalleria this morning to see the lighthouse . It was the first on the north coast and saved many hundreds of ships from floundering on the rather treacherous coast in the north of the island. The views are wonderful from here too.

Lunch was tapas at Es Mercadal, and then Home to read. I then headed off for a nice long walk around the area before supper. After supper in the apartment it was more reading!
