Too late!

For the CBAnimals challenge. Shame -- there's definitely a connection here. Extreme cuteness in large.

A's three pet sheep apparently drew straws when the ram visited. The Rouge de Roussillon got the short straw, so she had three lambs and the other two didn't have any. Ms Red decided two were quite enough, and wouldn't feed the little one, so Ringo is being bottle fed. How cute is he! He lives in the house with J and M, and they'd dropped him off at the bergerie while they took the dogs for a walk. I think he thinks he's a dog. He happily curled up next to C and then suddenly sprang awake to demand food. He also insisted on trotting after us when we left.

See extra for the siblings. They all have the white splash on their heads and white ends on their tails. They weren't at all interested in socialising with Ringo. He had a hopeful nudge at his two aunts, but they just headbutted him, so he decided to stick with his human flock, where he gets lots of cuddles and as much milk as he wants. He's a bit runty, but hopefully he will survive.

In the afternoon, cooking wild boar and errands in town left me exhausted for some reason. I ended up in a cycle of nap, long hot bath, another nap, dinner in bed. Perfect!

Edit: I blipped sheep on this day last year too ...
