Sunday evening trail walk

Just before dusk Bob and I started out for a trail walk, hoping to see some migrating monarch butterflies. We headed to Chagrin River Park because apparently that has been a hot spot for capturing monarch photos. Unfortunately that wasn't the case this time. Maybe it was just too cloudy or too late in the afternoon. As soon as we started down the trail, we saw two monarchs, but those were the only two we saw. We gave up on Chagrin River Park and drove out to North Chagrin Reservation. No luck there either. Eventually, it was too dark to continue so we headed for a favorite Italian restaurant and ordered a calzone. Delicious! I'll try to find monarchs again tomorrow, if it doesn't rain. Migration is in full swing. Hopefully I'll have more luck than I did today. (The extras are two more pictures from Chagrin River Park).
