for a Rescue mission

Technically perhaps not the best photo in the world but time was pressing....

I found this worker bumble bee in my garage and she had been there for some time. Doing nothing was not an issue and she was brought in to the kitchen and given a little honey.

I was surprised how much of it she consumed as she used her long proboscis to suck it up.

Happily she recovered and showing more movement, was taken outside to see out the rest of her season.
