Nothing ventured......

.....nothing gained.....

I bought an overripe pineapple (it wasn't huge) for 30p a few days ago and it just so happened I had some sugar (left over from last weeks plum exploits), a lemon and some vanilla extract......now I have a large jar of 'experimental' jam and a very sticky pan......I'll report back ;-)

otherwise nothing to report..........

(memo to self : 400g ripe pineapple/blitzed with stick blender, 400g granulated sugar, juice and grated rind of 1 lemon, 1tsp vanilla extract. bring to boil then simmer for about 20 minutes)
