Parthenon

After a hearty breakfast in the hotel's rooftop dining room with a great view of the Acropolis, we set off to walk it all off by climbing to the top. Over 30 degrees C so quite warm but well worth it for the views from the top and of course, to visit the Parthenon. The archaeologist accompanying us on the tour gave some interesting information but as the 'whisper' system (where the guide can talk to us using a short range radio to broadcast to earpieces worn by the group) that they normally a use hadn't arrived I found it difficult to catch everything she was saying; hopefully it will have arrived by tomorrow.

After lunch we visited the Acropolis Museum which was also very interesting. A lot of walking today so now relaxing before dinner.

I've added an extra which shows Extreme Gardening; I'm not sure how else you would weed the walls of the Acropolis!
