Garden Spider at Night

For tiny Tuesday this garden spider posed while working at night. I was surprised to see it at the window. It was trying to cover the entire window with its web. The photo is taken through two window layers (regular and winter) and neither is clean.
 I used the camera flash as well.
When I went to take its photo in the morning, it had folded its web and gone away. But at night it weaves again. Must be looking for moths or other night insects.
