Lancelot and Guinevere

When we were on the Isle of Wight recently, we visited the one time home of pioneer photographer Julia Margaret Cameron.  While there, I purchased a poster of one of her photographs, "Lancelot and Guinevere", which is now framed and hanging on my wall.

It has been photographed here through a glass sphere which I bought a little time ago but haven't otherwise yet had the chance to experiment with.  It produces this distorted, wide angle view, rather like a fisheye lens. I must try it out on a more interesting scene in due course.
