Pine cone

Today's the day …………………….. to come of age

Look what has happened to my Christmas pine tree growing out in a pot in the garden?

For the first time ever in its short life (maybe ten years or so) it has grown some proper, big tree, pine cones.  They're quite small, of course, but they are proper cones.

Does that mean it has reached puberty …………………?
