The Forth's Full

As are the clouds still.

It's normally a nice place for a lunchtime daunder along the banks of the river, over the fence there, beyond the submerged life preserver. Stayed well back from it today though after watching whole trees and what looked like someones bed float by at a fair rate of knots, heading for the City centre.

Looks like it's to be more of the same tomorrow after today's deluge made for a couple of detours on the way into work this morning. Bike? Not a chance. My level of bad-assedness drew the line at that after being woken through the night with the noise of it battering down.

The Abbey Craig with it's pointy Wallace Monument and the Castle on its big lump of rock looked like little islands today. Like a scene from that crappy Kevin Costner film - Paddles with Wolves - or something.
