Second Coat

Second coat of varnish, and off to do the grocery shopping we were too tired to do yesterday, in nearest town with a supermarket, Reguengos. Out of almost everything, plus I needed to make a dessert for meal at Padre's tonight, sounds like a lot of people, so I made a huge mango mousse. Even that was complicated with half the kitchen elsewhere.

Those who've seen the rough floor we had before will realise what an improvement this is, though it's not been without suffering! Actually feels more like a home now, and will be so much warmer and drier when winter comes. Still the edges to finish off.

Just been for an amazing walk, weird coloured skies, forked lightning, loud thunder, but only drops of rain - see the chapel as we walked past, in extra.
