Foiled in Reynès

This photo from today’s hike shows some of my companions returning disconsolately from the church in Reynès, a wonderfully pretty village in the foothills of the Pyrenees, because it was locked. Can’t see why this should be so - the Mairie was just across the square - and it makes me proud of my own church’s effort to keep the church open for visitors.

Another great day’s walking which I’m happy to have accomplished without much strain. Must be getting fitter ...
