Messing About In Boats

I wanted to go out on the Waimea Inlet and take some photos.  I see the inlet from my deck and I wondered what it would be like up close.  The forester took me in the boat and we had an unexpected hour on the water.  Lots of birds were spotted and we motored over to them.  They were chasing little fish that the larger Kahawai fish had chased to the surface.  The forester cast a spinning rod out and he caught four Kahawai.  He always gives the first fish back to Tangaroa, the Maori God of the sea.  The splashing made by the little fish was surprisingly loud.  Not easy to take photos while the boat is moving under you.  I basically pointed and clicked.
