Where the Light Gets In

Lovely weather

i love a good mist
sounds muffled sight limited
strange things could happen

This scene, in my mind, could be the setting for the start of a Maigret novel by Georges Simenon. I'm not sure he's written any Maigret that features Brittany, though...

A very misty, cold morning that later developed into a sunny day. Still, I chose to watch the tennis in the afternoon. France is up against Spain in the semifinals of this years Davis Cup. After a tough start, the first French player (it was his first Davis Cup game ever) beat his opponent in three sets. The second match was rather more difficult. I didn't watch it all, but it went to five sets and saw the Frenchman win. So they lead 2-0 and today's double could be decisive.
