Symbols of the city of London

I took these photos yesterday when l took a tour of the Inns of Temple (the law divisions within London city, next to the Courts of Justice).
The lambs are a Christian reference with the cross of St George, some say the cross is the type displayed by the Knights Templars who originally occupied this area.
The lion is an old symbol of England, Barbary lions used to be kept in a menagerie during the middle ages and were said to represent power and bravery.
Pegasus is another symbol that is thought to have been taken from the Knights Templars.
