Silly Saturday

A gentle day, breakfasting at leisure and then a stroll along the seafront at Carihuela, meandering in and out of the shops. I thought this funny fellow would make a good Silly Saturday blip.

Then a stop for a drink that was supposed to refresh and revitalise us ready for the walk back. Well, it did refresh us but I don't think it helped our energy levels to walk back. Maybe we shouldn't have chosen beer.....

Home for a late lunch, siesta and swim in the pool - a little chilly to get into but fine once in and Mum and I had the pool to ourselves. So good to see Mum swimming after her shoulder operation! :)

This evening has disappeared enjoying one of our favourite holiday foods - king prawns that we have to shell ourselves and then dip in mayonnaise - yum!
