Mouldings at Acklam Hall

This evening we celebrated Liz and Tony’s 30th wedding anniversary at a private family dinner at Acklam Hall. Mr hazelh and I were very honoured to be invited as two of four guests who are not family members. (The others were our good friends Petrina and Stephen.)

It was a wonderful event. The venue itself was special to us because it was formerly Liz’s father’s grammar school. I also remember making elaborate dresses from coloured newspaper here at an event for girl guides when the building was owned by the council in the 1970s.

My blip shows the plaster decoration over one of the mantelpieces in the hall.

Exercise today: none.
