There Be Dragons

After I'd watched the Singapore Grand Prix I asked Ollie dog if she would like to come hunting for dragons. What a haul!

First I noticed a tall grass seedhead swaying. The cause was a female common darter having just taken off. She returned so that I could capture her. Then I heard an interesting sounding aircraft engine approaching. I just managed to swap lenses in time to capture a de Havilland Dragon Rapide.

The willow emerald damselfly was flitting around south of number thirteen disused glasshouse and a migrant hawker dragonfly alighted on a bramble.
