LTT, Sloes, Warts and All

I caught my first long-winged conehead cricket on a hot day in September 2014. I was fascinated by how it spent ages nibbling my sweaty forearm. https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/4733343

I haven't seen another since - until today. I found it in exactly the same same place as before. Since 2014 I have heard about our very rare wartbiter crickets. They got their name because noble Swedes in the eighteenth century kept the insects in their top pockets and got them out to eat warts and callouses on their hands. The cricket family obviously has a propensity for this. I've found this vid showing a katydid munching on someone's wart. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=36KvMeKdaQA

My image is of one of a troupe of long-tailed-tits on blackthorn heavy with sloes.
