Sleep well

8:30pm.

At home and wiped out. We said our final farewell to my Grannie today. Mum had written a fitting eulogy, and I managed to read Psalm 121 without completely losing the ability to see.

It was nice to see some family members, but that unspoken awkwardness was hanging around at times.

Came home and we took the weeWeir to swimming after stocking the larder. And life, as it often does, goes on.

But I feel that sense of loss. Mostly for my Grandad. They were married for 60 years.

Finding faith in the midst of struggle is where real hope is found.
