'Official Opening'

Tonight was the official opening of the 'Charles La Trobe Lounge' at La Trobe University. We were invited along as the Architects for the project.

This shot shows the feature glass wall that was the centre piece of the design. An existing glass art wall created by artist Allen David back in the 1970's. This used to be the screen wall to the Library entry many years ago and has now been incorporated into the design of the new lounge which has been created as a home for visiting professors, Emeritus professors and Alumni of the University.

There was lots of praise coming in our direction for a job well done, which was very nice to hear. Will be nice to see how everyone embraces their new space.
