Lovely walk

Helen and I set out on our walk in the murk and the drizzle this morning.  We called in for our Jenny and whisked her off to Spoons for toasted teacakes and cuppas and catch up, then said our goodbyes to her and continued our walk on to the Viaduct.....where the sun came out!

We spent a few minutes enjoying the painted rock line which has been laid out on the viaduct by local children hoping to enter the record books for the longest rock conga line.  Sadly some idiots kicked it about over the weekend (why would you do that?) but it has been restored today.  Once across the viaduct we took the path underneath, where I blipped Helen against this grand feat of engineering, negotiated the boggy bit, crossed the busy road and back on to the peaceful Goit Stock path.

Five miles later we had caught up on all our family doings over recent weeks and set the world back to rights.  Thank you Helen for a smashing walk!

Now if you fancy a great few days in the Lake District in the company of fellow blippers, being tutored in landscape photography by the highly skilled John Gravett, there are still three places remaining 5th - 9th November.  The details are here.  I've been on one of John's workshops before and it was excellent!

Some advice please:  I'm thinking of buying a Lensball.  Does anyone have one, if yes is it any good and, if yes, which company did you use?  I'm concerned that some are decorative items rather than for photographic use and that some may be fake.
