The Old Mill

Formerly the Adams Bag Company Paper Mill and Sack Factory, built in 1859 along the Chagrin River dam spillway. It is the only one remaining of nine original mills and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Operating until 2004, the mill was partially demolished in recent years by developers big on dreams and short on cash, who eventually gave up the project. It is now cordoned off to keep trespassers out as the premises continue to deteriorate.

Thanks to Marlieske for keeping the DS challenge going.
