Misstra K-I-A likes to impress his colleagues with his encyclopaedic knowledge of little-known factoids which he stores in a funny little box above his shoulders. Today's gem was that the global co-ordinates of the Great Pyramid at Giza is equal to the speed of light in a vacuum.

Speed is measured using an arbitrary unit of distance divided by an arbitrary unit of time, both devised by different human cultures in different eras.

Location, similarly, is an arbitrary human measurement from yet another era.

Precious little to do with super-intelligent extra terrestrials from a bygone era with a sense of humour then, I imagined. Audibly.

After that it was quite quiet in the office and we all got on with our work.
