Viva España

A pretty uncommon bit of graffiti to come across in independence-obsessed Catalonia, where "Catalonia is not Spain" (sic) is the favoured tag. Admittedly it looks rather old. There's an election next weekend for the Catalan parliament, and of the six parties standing, four state as their main selling point that they are in favour of independence. Not sure how one is better than another.

Actually, it wasn't really the graffiti that attracted me to this Begur back street. It was the startling golden glow of the buildings on the right. It was a sunny day, although you can't tell here. I still haven't run out of blippable spots in Begur!
