Gales!

69 mph gale force winds here!   This tree is just across the road from my house  -  fortunately the wind is blowing the other way!  I think a lot of people around here are wondering where their bins have blown to  -  mine are well anchored though☺ Took a load of general waste and cardboard down to the Dump thinking no-one else would venture out in such wind  -  I was wrong, there was a long queue waiting to enter  -  obviously other people were thinking the same as me!  Shopped in the new Retail Park and had a look at the new Costa Coffee Shop  -  it looks very pukka  -  I think it will open this weekend. Haven' heard Peter, Paul & Mary sing for many a year  -  remember this one well!
