Wild Asters...

...are all in bloom now, and looking better for a couple days of rain. 
Tom and I had just left the house this morning for his lab draw and MD appointment when a coyote carrying a squirrel in its' mouth ran right across the road in front of us! Tom asked me where my camera was, & I said I didn't think it would have helped had I brought it along, as it would have been in the back seat, plus I was driving 40 MPH which isn't conducive to taking a picture! (unless you're blipper MaryElizaR, who probably would have pulled it off! Haha!)
