Rain, rain, rain

What an unspeakably dismal day it has been. One of those days when it never really seemed to get light at all.

It is unusual for the weather to dampen my enthusiasm for a lunchtime walk, but today was an exception. In fact I ventured no further than the patio where I decided to take a shot of the fruits of my hard labour over a couple of recent weekends.

You may have seen my blip on 28th October when I had just started to clean the patio - a job I had been putting off for several years.

Now it is looking fairly pristine, but sadly it will be only a matter of time before the grime and moss return if the weather carries on like this all winter.
