Pyramid Lake

Our final alternate hotel, proved to be the best of the lot.  We rolled up to this idyllic lake at about 4 pm, after having a 'flight' on the Jasper Skytram (a cable car to you and me), up to Whistlers Mountain (not to be confused with Whistler Mountain in British Columbia).

We just had time to have a walk around part of the lake before dinner.  I liked the shape of the rocks in the foreground and the increasing amount of cloud providing patterns in the sky.  For most of the day there had hardly been a cloud of note, save for some high cirrus clouds providing patterns above the mountains.

The extra is the group of travellers, the LPH travel class of 2018.  They include blippers, JohnGravett, DebsLG, Carol_Dunham (a new blipper), DavidC and of course, me.
