Freshers' Fair

Today I went to Southampton, to the City Art Gallery, in good time (well you know what happened last time!)  There was a great exhibition by Vancouver artist, Kelly Richardson, called Pillars of Dawn- I have to say I was blown away by it.  But also happening right outside in Guildhall Square was the Solent Freshers' Fair, so hundreds of people -new students and greeters - were milling about and getting rather over-excited.  Good luck to them all!

This blip is of one of them, walking through the crush at a great pace. Bags of determination.  Perhaps one day she'll rule the world (couldn't do worse than the current crop!)
