Mono Monday: Week 243 .......

... Escape.

We had two monarchs escape from their 11 day chrysalis stage today .... one male and one female.

Our monarch nursery will soon be coming to a close.  As of this writing (Sept 21!) we only have three chrysalids left but on this day (Monday) there are five .... two more are getting ready to escape within the next day or two.  And so far we have helped 19 butterflies escape into this world ... counting the two from today. 

I'm sure this is being posted way too late for the MM challenge ... but I'm slowly trying to catch up once again.
