St Magnus Cathedral

Our last day here so went to have a more detailed look at St Magnus Cathedral, spending quite some time in front of the array of grave slabs from the C16 and C17, marvelling at the scale and delicacy of the carver's art.
This one is considered to be the oldest, dating from the C13 and depicts a carved Morning Star symbol and a sword, which may indicate a crusader or Templar Knight. The initials P and C at the top were added at a later date.
