Another long, demanding day. Demanding on stamina & patience. Demanding on my ability to get it right 1st time when under pressure. Demanding on my contact network.

Lunch at Rotary followed by a client meeting right afterwards meant it was dark again almost before I'd noticed. Well, 8 hours of daylight...

After a very late dinner, I went for a walk on the prom. Got fresh air and stretched my legs. Good for the digestion too.

That led to a pint of Addlestones Cloudy Cider in Betty Nicol's. It isn't exactly bursting at the seams on a Tuesday night in late November. Good place for a Blip, however.

Had a lot of nostalgic thoughts about SE Asia in the 80s & 90s, having had to find an Indonesian lawyer to help with a wee thing.

We shared an office in Glasgow in the 80s. We kept in contact for a long time after he moved east, but when my son came along in '93 it became too difficult to escape for wild weekends in Hong Kong, Singapore, Ho Chi Minh City etc.

One thing on the bucket list is to take the Teenager to visit a few old haunts in that neck of the woods. Gee, he'll be 20 next year.
