Royal Parade, Harrogate

This shot was taken a short distance away from the Valley Gardens. As I was walking towards this shot I was struck by the fact that the tall and rather incongruous tower block that is 'The Exchange' seems to dominate the skyline from all directions. It really is out of place with the rest of its surroundings. (Originally built in 1970 by the British Rail Board, it used to be known as Copthall Tower.)
I like how the depth of the image is compressed using a long-ish focal length.
Before now, I have never noticed how many antennae and other bits of apparatus that are on the tower's roof.

Update: Following Jankerman's excellent suggestion, a Photoshop demolition has been carried out for the extra image.
