Over the water to Grandma's house

The first family contingent arrived safely altho it was a windy bouncy ferry ride. Not so much wind where we are (you can see some hair streaming ) tho and no rain for the moment. We are all excited! One reason I chose this photo is the extremely high tide - you can maybe appreciate the ramp from the wharf to the dock is almost flat. Mom and Dad are collecting the stuff from the boat (including much of our TG dinner that they brought!)
Rained off and on. Tatum and I spent some time in the studio, while everyone else took a nap - one of her projects was making placecards and handwritten menus for everyone for TG dinner. Decorations to come!
We're all hunkered down for days now....another thanksgiving was being remembered when it snowed, and son #2 and family got out of here on the last ferry to run for 3 days and minutes before we lost power for the same. (But they hd a terrible drive home...) That was before Fiona. But we're pretty prepared for whatever adventure comes.....
