Careful What You Wish For

I did write that some rain would be good.  The weather delivered it today and how.  A proper autumn storm - it was lovely to sit in here and listen to the wind howling and the rain lashing against the windows.  You better believe that the heating went on - I am very snug here.

The cats did that cat thing.  The rain was bouncing off the ground and the wind was really strong - Moot sat at the terrace door and scratched (Munni watches from her stool to see if the door will open).  I opened the door and Moot looked at me as if to say "What on earth are you doing?  No cat would want to go out in THAT:"

I closed the door.  And Moot scratched at the glass.

I gave up and retired to my office.

And yes, I know I pretty much always blip this when it rains, but you see, I can take this from inside the kitchen.  That means I don't have to go out.  A joyful thing on a day like today.
