Handy Reflections by Yamaha

A generous bequest has meant that St Hilda's Church has been able to invest in a new grand piano.  The building is becoming an attractive place for concerts and recitals in aid of various charities.  The bequest was from a couple who had been longtime supporters of the music in the church.

The new instrument is a beautiful piece of furniture and it was played for the first time in a service today.  It has a lovely tone too.

We are fortunate to have a young man who plays great jazz, so he treated us to a little of that at the end of morning service.  You can see how shiny the piano is too!
