While I was gone the aubergine has grown a bit more, one of the other aubergine plants has grown a flower, one of the pear shaped tomatoes are beginning to mature and I picked the 'black' tomato. It tasted really, really sweet and nice! 
Cold is more and more taking hold and autumn is here. I think I need to sort out my patio this week, before the frost comes, and choose what plants to take inside and which to throw away. Some of the tomato plants are coming inside, the aubergines and the thyme pot. The Hydrangea is already inside.
