Hi ya.....

.......not sure who was more surprised this little katydid or myself as I stumbled over him/her while doing a spot of weeding. 

He had been sheltering right down in the centre of an old heuchera leaf blending very nicely with his/her environment. I left him alone but ventured back later in the day to find him sunbathing on the leaf. 

Of course I had the camera in hand and decided to try the macro setting on the Sony RX10 M4, I'm very happy! Thanks to dbifulco for hosting Tiny Tuesday :)

And this tiny katydid tells me spring is here :)
